Twice lucky

First it was the National Award for Best Artiste. And now it is his latest film Aparichitudu that is creating ripples in the Telugu film industry. This is the second and successful homecoming for Vikram. He had earlier acted in Telugu flicks Youth (directed by Jitendra), Merupu (Gopichand) and Tommidi Nelalu (Kranthi Kumar), albeit without much success and shifted base to Chennai to become a super star. During a meet here that was held to mark the success of Aparichitudu, Vikram announced that he would be doing a Telugu film very soon. The project is expected to come up next year. According to sources in the industry, it is learnt that Vikram is keen about working with director V.V. Vinayak.
