Awards time

It's raining laurels for the Telugu film industry this year. Yet another feather in the state film industry's cap is the Indira Gandhi National Award (Swarna Kamal) for filmmaker Mohan Krishna Indraganti's Grahanam. The film is an on screen adaptation of the literary classic Dosha Gunam written by Chalam. Speaking on the topic, noted writer and artiste Tanikella Bharani urged the government to keep prejudice at bay and select the films that sincerely needed to be honoured.
