Graceful transformation

Rajyalakshmi became popular with her debut film Sankarabharanam which was directed by K. Viswanath. Now she is playing mother to several young heroes and as sister-in-law to top heroes. "Unlike the heroes, heroines do not have long run. Even noted artiste Anjali Devi who played heroine opposite several heroes, played mother to the same heroes. For that matter, several of my juniors like Tulasi, Varalakshmi and Sita are playing the roles of mothers and sister-in-law," says Rajyalakshmi. According to her such changeovers are natural and has become a tradition in the film industry. Kudos to her for accepting the situation so gracefully.
