Quality matters


Gunnam Gangaraju became popular with his Little Soldiers. Later he produced a hit film titled Aithe. Now he is producing another film Anukokunda Oka Roju with Chandrasekhar Yeleti as the director and Charmi in the lead role. Talking about the restrictions on tickets in different theatres, he says, "It is gross injustice. I know what is the quality of my product and what rate I should sell it. " According to him, the price denotes the confidence of the maker about his product. "There will be some permanent audiences who watch films directed by Mani Ratnam. They will watch his film whether the ticket is priced at Rs. 10 or Rs. 100. People don't go to the theatres, just because you reduce the price of the ticket," he argues, adding, "One should not restrict the creative art in the name of controlling the ticket rates.
