Horror is the genre now



"Kurukkezhuthu" ... in keeping with the times

"SHOCK" SEEMS to have heralded a shift in genre, from action to horror, because now you have quite a few frightening flicks in the making — the Sneha starrer, "Adhu," "Senthazham Poovae" with Devyani and "Kurukkezhuthu."

Of these "Kurukkezhuthu" has a whole lot of newcomers. It is a story of 10 students who die under mysterious circumstances, one after the other.

Direction and cinematography are by Baskar, who makes his debut with the film. Hero Vasanth is again a new face, while the heroine Lakshmi Rai is also working in another film directed by R. V. Udayakumar. Intended to be completed in about 30 days shooting is going on in full swing at Thalakkonam.
