Directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, the film revolves round the life of two young couple, Subir (Amitabh Bachchan) and Uma (Jaya Bhaduri), who are united by music. Captivated by the melodious voice of Uma, Subir falls for her and marries her. In the course of time, however, Uma's musical talents receive more accolades. This deeply hurts his ego who starts drinking and ignores the offers from leading music companies. Will the couple unite to continue their musical journey? Tune in to see what happens...
