Vedic Sangeeta Foundation
THE INAUGURATION of the Vedic Sangeeta Foundation, 5, "Jayashree", No. 42, Bheemanna Garden Street, Chennai - 600 018 (Ph: 2499 7422) will be held on January 18, (tomorrow) at 5 p.m., at Asthika Samajam, Venus Colony. On the occasion, Srimad Rangaramanuja Mahadesika Swamigal and Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswati Swamigal of the Kanchi Peetam will deliver Anugrahabashan. T. N. Seshan, former Chief Election Commissioner, will preside over the function. B. Sundar Kumar will speak on the greatness of the Vedas and Sangeeta. Excerpts from the Vedas and a concert by Aruna Sayeeram and party will follow. The foundation plans to hold monthly rendering of the Vedas and brief classical music demonstrations.
