Film festival

THE OFFICE of Public Affairs U. S. Consulate General, Chennai, and the Madras Film Society will jointly conduct a festival of American films titled `The American Family in Hollywood' from November 18 to 22.

The five films to be screened are ``It's a Wonderful Life'' directed by Frank Capra, ``Old Yeller'' by Robert Stevenson, ``Mr. Mum'' by Stan Dragoti, ``Baby Boom'' by Charles Shyer and ``Crossing Delancey'' by Joan Micklin Silver. Cinematographer and director Balu Mahendra will inaugurate the festival.
