Film fete

A FESTIVAL of German films will be held between October 28 and 31 at the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce at 6.15 p.m. Organised by the Max Mueller Bhavan and The Madras Film Society (in celebration of their 45th anniversary) the line up includes "The State I Am In" directed by Christian Petzold, "In July" directed by Fatih Akin, "Gigantic" by Sebastian Schipper, ``Forget America" by Vanessa Joop, "Enlightenment Guaranteed" by L. Doris Dorrie, "The April Children" by Yuksel Yavuz and "No Place to Go" directed by Oskar Roehler. Dr.Eleonore Rahimi-Laridjani, director, Max Mueller Bhavan, will inaugurate the function and G. Venkateswaran, Chairman, Sujatha films, will preside over the function.
