Kahin Naa Kahin Koi Hai

(Sony, Mondays to Thursdays, 20.30)

It is said that marriages are made in heaven. Well, from July 29, get ready to watch the process of matrimony unfold, right from the boy-meets-the-girl-stage, on your TV screens. For ``Kahin Naa Kahin Koi Hai'' intends to serve as a platform for girls and boys in search of a life partner to meet each other along with their families and get to know one another.

The show is the real life journey of a family as they select a husband for their daughter.

In keeping with the traditional process of matchmaking, the parents of the girl give the UTV team a detailed list of criteria they are looking for in the prospective groom.

The matrimonial team then searches through their large database for suitable alliances and forwards the list to the bride's family.

The team then approaches the short-listed boys and if any/all of the latter find the girl suitable, shooting dates for their meeting are co-ordinated and finalised.

And then they meet for the first time on the sets of the show, which in turn captures all the nuances that stimulate a chain of events that could culminate in a wedding ceremony. Helping in the process of youngsters finding soul mates is Madhuri Dixit, who anchors the programme.
