Nepal to send peacekeepers

KATHMANDU DEC. 13. Nepal will send a contingent of 800 soldiers, including four women, to Sierra Leone under the United Nations' Peace Keeping mission. "It is a matter of pride for our country, which has unflinching faith in the United Nations Charter, to be continuously contributing to the task of establishing peace in different parts of the globe," King Gyanendra said in a message to the Fifth Battalion Peace Keeping Force.
