Homage to personnel killed in December 13 attack

New Delhi Dec. 12. Members in Parliament today paid homage to the security personnel who lost their lives during the terrorist attack on Parliament on December 13, 2001.

A function will be held tomorrow at the spot where the security personnel laid down their lives. Dignitaries and MPs will pay floral tributes to the martyrs and a blood-donation camp will also be organised.

The Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha observed a minute's silence in their memory. The Lok Sabha Speaker, Manohar Joshi, said ``our Parliament was made target of a cowardly terrorist attack. The attempt of terrorists was brought to nought by the bravery displayed by the security personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force, the Delhi Police, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police and the Parliament Watch and Ward staff.''
