As the Chandanwari-Amarnath and Baltal-Amarnath routes became slippery the authorities decided to suspend the yatra.
As of now over 1.5 lakh pilgrims have worshipped at the Amarnath cave.
The rush has witnessed considerable decrease in the last few days. In contrast to the initial days, only a few hundred persons are leaving for the yatra now.
Even non-registered pilgrims are being allowed now to join the ``yatra''.
