The U.S. Defence Secretary, Donald Rumsfeld, is looking into the possibility of getting a U.N. resolution ``provided it can be done in a way that is useful and makes it easier for people such as the Indians and for other countries to provide troops'', he said on NBC-TV. At present, there are 147,000 American troops in Iraq and about 14,000 British troops in addition to 13,000 troops from 19 countries. The U.S. was hoping for 17,000 Indian troops. PTI
