Youth Cong. leader shot dead in U.P.

Varanasi July 20. The Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh Youth Congress unit, Mahesh Yadav, was today shot dead and his friend injured by gunmen here, police said.

The assailants fired upon Mr. Yadav and his friend, Sushil Dubey, when they were standing outside a shop, killing the Congress leader on the spot, they said. — PTI
