Jumps to death

HYDERABAD July 15. A lab technician, Shaik Sagar (25), jumped to death from the fourth floor of a building in Tilaknagar on Tuesday.

In a suicide note recovered from his clothes the victim stated that he was resorting to the extreme step following failure in a love affair.

Rowdy-sheeters held: Two rowdy-sheeters -- Amberpet Shankar and Chinna Srishaialm Yadav -- were taken into custody on Tuesday.

They were arrested under the AP Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Dacoits, Drug Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders and Land Grabbers Act, 1986.

Robbery: Robbers gained entry into the shops in Jubilee Hills police station limits in the wee hours of Tuesday and took away Rs. 15,000 from cash boxes.

Found dead: A worker of a APSRTC Khusaiguda workshop, Rajeev Singh (50), who left home on July 12, was found dead at Moosi nala near Chaderghat bridge on Tuesday.
