Cong. leader's memo to Dattatreya

By Our Staff Reporter

TIRUPATI July 15. The PCC spokesperson, Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu, has called on the Minister of State for Railways, Bandaru Dattatreya, and the SC Railway General Manager, T. Stanley Babu, and submitted memoranda on the problems faced due to the closure of a railway gate and non-restoration of the station building blasted by naxals in Puttur, the constituency formerly represented by him.

It may be recalled that the Congress leader held a demonstration at the railway gate seeking its opening. He also threatened to halt all the trains at the Puttur station in the Tirupati-Chennai section on July 18, if the demands of the locals were not accepted.
