An extravagant show: BJP

By Our Staff Reporter

SHIMLA JULY 6. The Himachal BJP today blamed the Congress Government for blatantly misusing the government machinery and resources.

Baldev Sharma, BJP spokesman, said here that it was less of a party and more of a State Government affair. He has also warned the government employees from openly participating in the party affairs of the Congress.

Commenting on the grave financial state of the government, he said, in its first 100 days of rule, the Himachal Pradesh Government has already taken a loan of Rs. 915 crores.

Mr. Sharma said that the Congress president, Sonia Gandhi, was setting a bad trend by giving a message of misuse of government machinery and money in the States ruled by her party Chief Ministers.
