Letters to the Editor
Sir, You have spoken loud and clear for a billion free people. Having suffered the deprivations and indignities of the British colonial rule, we cannot lose our freedom and national honour for a mess of ill-gotten Anglo-American potage to stabilise the occupation of Iraq. In view of our historical ties with the people of Iraq, as forcefully argued by you, we should, along with the countries which opposed the Anglo-American invasion, work for the restoration of Iraq to the Iraqis through the United Nations.
Jacob George,
