Marad: 3 more arrested

KOZHIKODE, JULY 3. The Crime Branch Special Investigation Team (SIT) today arrested three more persons in connection with the Marad massacre on May 2.

The team arrested Ishihaq (23), son of Imbichi Koya, Noushad (23), son of Mammed Koya and P. P. Jaffer (20), son of Ali from the Mukhathar beach here this morning. A sword was also seized from them. All of them were absconding after the incident, the police said. The accused have been remanded to custody.
