Addressing presspersons here on Thursday, Mr. Menon said the company had opened its office in Virginia, the U.S. to facilitate international technical tie-ups and foreign direct investments. He said the company had established a new corporate office-cum-works and R & D facility in the Guindy industrial estate, near here. The new facility, which houses a testing centre, would be producing UPS systems up to 150 kVA. The company had successfully configured and installed multi operating system software to work with the company's UPS system. It had also installed a parallel redundant critical UPS system for National Institute of Ocean Technology and implemented single chip technology for valid frequencies.
