By B. Muralidhar Reddy

ISLAMABAD JUNE 13. Aziz Ahmad Khan, Pakistan's High Commissioner-designate to India, today called on the President, Pervez Musharraf, and exchanged views on his new assignment. Indications are Mr. Khan would take up his new job before the end of this month.

Gen. Musharraf congratulated Mr. Khan on his new assignment and hoped that the latter's experience and professionalism would meet success in his new "highly important assignment". For his part, Mr. Khan said he would strive to live up to the trust reposed in him.
