Agassi in ominous form

LONDON JUNE 13. Andre Agassi looks ready to make a run at Wimbledon. The second-seeded Agassi needed only 47 minutes on Thursday to defeat 1996 Wimbledon champion Richard Krajicek, 6-1, 6-2 to move into the quarterfinals at the Queen's Club grass-court tournament.

Top-seeded Lleyton Hewitt and No. 3 Andy Roddick had tougher times advancing.

Defending champion Hewitt survived 21 aces to beat Belgian Dick Norman 7-6 (7-4), 3-6, 6-4 and the American overcame Briton Greg Rusedski 6-3, 4-6, 6-4.

Agassi faces Xavier Malisse of Belgium in the quarterfinals. Hewitt plays sixth-seeded Frenchman Sebastien Grosjean and Roddick goes against fellow American Taylor Dent.

In other third-round matches, Grosjean defeated Todd Reid of Australia, 6-1, 6-4; Briton Tim Henman won over Cyril Saulnier of France, 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, 6-3; Malisse beat Marc Rosset of Switzerland, 7-6 (7-4), 7-5.
