Playwin launches `a new gaming experience'

By Our Special Correspondent

Bangalore June 9. There may be mixed feelings about online lotteries but one more has been just launched. KENO, introduced by Playwin on behalf of the State Government, promises players the opportunity to win up to Rs.10 lakhs daily.

It is to be a new gaming experience, offering a unique flexibility of using different variations based on the concept of ``spots."

It is the only game in the country where a player can actually create his own gaming structure from a variety of play options.

The game is based on the concept of ``spots." A set of two numbers comprises a spot and a player can play up to a 10-spot game. At the time of the draw, 20 numbers are drawn out of a set of 80 balls, which multiplies the chances of winning, according to Playwin.

The players can win prizes depending on the number of matches against the 20 numbers drawn.

KENO was an internationally accepted format, similar to the popular game of Tambola or ``Housie,'' the organisers said. Internationally, KENO is associated with fun and flexibility and played in pubs and at parties.

Ogilvy and Mather are the advertising agency for KENO, as in the case of Lucky 3. The agency has come up with the tagline ``Chance Hi Chance'' for the game.
