Govt. considering resumption of cricket ties with Pak.

New Delhi June 4. After a gap of four years, the Government today hinted at resumption of cricket ties with Pakistan but the final decision in this regard may take a couple of months. Pakistan had made a suggestion of having a one-off Test against India in September.

The Union Minister for Sports, Vikram Verma, told scribes here that ``we have still enough time to decide on resumption of sports ties.'' The Government would assess the overall situation in the bilateral relations and see to what extent the ties had improved..
