One more child in `Amma' cradle

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM MAY 28. A two-day-old girl child was found abandoned in the `Amma' electronic cradle at the State Council for Child Welfare office here today, taking the number of children abandoned in the cradle to 14.

According to the social workers in the council, the child was found abandoned in the cradle at around 10-15 a.m, this morning when the council workers were busy with the arrangements for a seminar on child labour at the council hall.

The child weighing 2 kilos was named Kalpana by the social workers.
