V.Krishna Rao, former President of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) and MP, B.N.V.Subramanya, President, Akhila Karnataka Brahmana Mahasabha, K.Subbaraya Sharma, Editor of Shankara Bhaskara (Adhyatma Prakashana), Ganapathi Mahabaleshwara Sastry, Agama expert in the Department of Religious Endowments, and S.P.Kalaseshwara Bhat, Professor in Rigveda at Chamarajendra Sanskrit College, would be felicitated at the function. The Governor will unveil a portrait of Lakshminarasimha Sastry of Kyatsandra, who, at the behest of his father, Subba Jois, founded the temple in 1904, and revived the Harihara Kshetra. Mr. Chaturvedi will offer pooja at the main temple of Chandramouleeshwara and go round the kshetra. The Deputy Commissioner, Mallikarjuna B.Dyaberi, and the Superintendent of Police, R.Hitendra, supervised the arrangements made for the visit of the Governor. He is scheduled to attend two other functions organised by a college of Sanskrit and an institute of technology at Siddaganga Math. Mr. Chaturvedi was here on January 22 to inaugurate the Siddhartha Institute of Management Studies at Buddhagangotri.
