Announcing this the Minister of State (independent charge) for Road Transport and Highways, B. C. Khanduri, said today that the bridge was built at Krishnarajpuram near Bangalore. Describing it as a "unique" bridge with a length of 230 metres, he said it would span the huge Kishnarajapuram railway yard on the busy Bangalore-Kolar-Chennai section of the NH4.
