By Our Special Correspondent

AHMEDABAD SEPT. 17. An indefinite curfew was clamped in Borsad in Anand district in central Gujarat following outbreak of communal violence this morning.

At least one person was killed and a dozen others injured in police firing and stone throwing. A police official was among those seriously injured.

A minor accident involving persons of rival communities turned a bigger clash between the two communities, reports said.
