Sandeep Pandey returns prize money

New Delhi Sept. 4. Hurt by criticism that he was accepting the cash prize from a U.S.-based organisation, Ford Foundation, though he was a staunch opponent of American policies, the Magsaysay award winner, Sandeep Pandey, today said he had decided to return the cash component of the prize. Mr. Pandey had received the award for emerging leadership category.
