Letters to the Editor
Sir, Your Editorial `Unfeeling community' (Aug. 20) is timely. Due to a mad pursuit for material comforts, the average Indian is found wanting in humane values and considerations for the weak members of his neighbourhood and community. A high degree of selfishness now prevails in our men and women, making them cold and unfeeling. It is time educationalists and social reformers did something concrete to promote social concerns in young minds.
