TRAI website hacked

By Our Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD July 10. The website of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) was defaced today by a relatively new hacker group, Federal Bureau of Hackers (FBH).

The defaced website had a simple message from the hacker who identified himself as `Abunasar of FBH'.

He maintained that the defacement was for the freedom of the "Indian-Occupied-Kashmir''. The website (www.trai.gov.in) has since been repaired and rehosted on the server.

The FBH, according to websites which maintain record of defacements, had also attacked a Ministry of Defence site (www.defstand.gov.in/index. html) and a Ministry of Railways site (www.rb.railnet.gov.in) .
