At least 12 jawans of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were killed and nine others injured in a series of landmine explosions triggered by the MCC ultras in Auriya jungle areas under Churchur police station of extremism- racked Hazaribagh district this evening. According to official sources here, the police had gone for a raid in the area when mines were blasted by the extremists of the Maoist Communist Centre (MCC), killing 12 CRPF jawans on the spot.
