Letters to the Editor
The WikeLeaks tapes have vindicated the stand of the Left and Prakash Karat about the total surrender of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to U.S. pressure on the India-U.S. civil nuclear deal. The anger at Mr. Karat, expressed by conferring an extortionist's title on him, and the impatience with Sonia Gandhi for wavering under the Left's strident stand on the issue, clearly expose the one-point agenda of the Prime Minister. The BJP's hypocrisy on the issue has also been exposed. Kasim Sait, Chennai
