Tragedy strikes former soldier

BANGALORE: He had just constructed his house but was fated to die before he could move in.

A retired Border Security Force (BSF) jawan, died when a sports-utility vehicle hit his motorcycle at the Bagalur Cross traffic signal on Bellary Road here on Tuesday morning.

Rajeshwar Singh (62) was returning on his motorcycle after purchasing materials for the “gruha pravesha” of his new house when tragedy struck. The ceremony was scheduled for December 4.
