Over 3 lakh participate in Pushkar fair

Pushkar: Over 3 lakh people, including several foreigners, participated in the eight-day annual cattle fair which ended here on Sunday, an official said. The last day also saw thousands of devotees who took a dip in the Pushkar lake here on the occasion of ‘Kartik Poornima.'

Ajmer Collector Rajesh Yadav told PTI that about 3 lakh people came to the Pushkar fair. About 20,000 animals were also brought to the fair and transactions worth Rs.9 crore were made. — PTI
