Facilities to be improved in high schools

SANGAREDDY: Better infrastructure will be provided in high schools in the district under the Rashtriya Madhyamika Siksha Abhiyan (RMSA). As many 63 high schools will benefit under the scheme.

The Director of School Education sanctioned Rs. 31.31 lakh to each school for construction of two classrooms, one science lab, one computer room, one library and one handicrafts room in addition to providing toilets.

Similarly, the School Education Commissioner sanctioned Rs. 7,425 each to 478 high schools as grant and Rs. 4,787 each to 441 high schools for minor repairs. Tender process was on for these works. It was also decided to establish model schools in 43 educationally backward mandals in the district.
