Kamble joins leaders

BHIWANI: Vikramaditya Kamble overpowered former champion Prathamesh Mokal to join P. Konguvel and M.R. Venkatesh in the lead at six points after seven rounds of the National challengers' chess championship here on Monday.

Kamble's 37-move win on the second board was the only decisive result from the top seven boards.
