Gill inspects venues

NEW DELHI: Union Sports Minister M.S. Gill on Monday inspected four Commonwealth Games venues — Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee swimming pool and lawn bowls stadium — and expressed satisfaction over the progress in the finishing work.

“Despite the heavy rains, the work is going on in full force and everyone is confident of delivering the Games,” said Mr. Gill after having discussions with different stadium administrators.

“At every stadium, administrators and workforce are working round-the-clock with full enthusiasm,” said Mr. Gill.
