Districts-I takes lead
CHENNAI: Districts-I finished with a first innings lead in the drawn match against City-III in the TNCA round-robin under-19 match here.
Districts-I made 174 for eight in response to City-III's 117.
In the other match, Districts-II made 190 for nine in 88 overs in reply to City-IV's 151. A. Sachin Kumar claimed five for 63 for City-IV.
The scores:
City-III 117 & 95 for one in 31 overs (R. Mohan Babu 47, S. Rajeev Abhilash 27 n.o.) drew with Districts-I 174 for eight in 90 overs (Bhargav Venkatraman 49, S. Chandrasekar 25, A. Venkatesh three for 57, M. Siddarth four for 61).
City-IV 151 drew with Districts-II 190 for nine in 88 overs (J. Kaushik 67 n.o., Arun Balaji 41, S.R. Mithun 30, A. Sachin Kumar five for 63).
