With IDCA – chasing TCC's 153 – unable to complete 15 overs, the minimum required to worry over run-rates, the bowl-out was resorted to, to settle the issue at the Tripunithura Palace Oval. It was the first bowl-out of the Pooja event, one of the world's oldest limited-over tournaments. The tournament resumes on Wednesday after a day's break. The scores (first phase): Tripunithura CC ‘C' 153 in 34.5 overs (Varghese 40, K.A. Ansar three for 39) vs Idukki 44 for four in 11 overs. (TCC wins bowl-out 3-0) .
