LEEDS: Kamran Akmal led Pakistan to a strong total of 294 for eight in the second One-Day International against England at Headingley here on Sunday.

The wicketkeeper top-scored with 74.

Mohammad Hafeez (43), Mohammad Yousuf (46) and Asad Shafiq (50) were the other major contributors. It was Shafiq's maiden ODI fifty. — AFP
