Thrissur dominates

ANGAMALY: Thrissur dominated the Kerala State judo championship, winning the senior and junior overall titles at the FISAT College here on Friday evening.

K. Babu, MLA, gave away the prizes.

Team championships:

Men: 1. Thrissur (108 pts.), 2. Ernakulam (18). Women: 1. Thrissur (66), 2. Ernakulam (12).

Overall, seniors: 1. Thrissur (174), 2. Ernakulam (30). Juniors, under-17 boys: 1. Thiruvananthapuram (34), 2. Ernakulam (32).

Under-17 girls: 1. Thrissur ( 42), 2. Thiruvananthapuram (28). Under-20 boys: 1. Thrissur (44), 2. Ernakulam (38).

Under-20 girls: 1. Thrissur (46), 2. Thiruvananthapuram (34).

Overall, juniors: 1. Thrissur (142), 2. Thiruvananthapuram (98) . – Special Correspondent
