“Freedom of expression under threat”

CHENNAI: Alleging that the DMK government was indulging in ostentatious celebrations instead of concentrating on people's problems, the district secretaries meeting of the MDMK on Wednesday vowed to mobilise the people against the government in the Assembly election.

A resolution adopted in the meeting said freedom of expression was under threat in the State and the Opposition speakers were attacked for expressing views against the government.
