HYDERABAD: Paving way for admissions, the government issued orders on the fee structure of engineering, pharmacy, Pharm-D, MBA and MCA courses as decided by the Admissions and Fee Regulatory Committee (AFRC), a few days back. Tuition fee for engineering courses including pharmacy, planning and architecture courses has been fixed at Rs. 31,000 per annum for convenor quota and Rs. 95,000 for management quota seats. For NRI quota seats within management quota, the fee will be USD 5,000 per annum. Fee for Pharm-D course is Rs. 68,000 per annum under convenor quota and Rs. 1.55 lakh for management seats. For NRI quota seats, fee is USD 6,000. The colleges will be allowed to collect an extra amount of Rs. 3,000 for both convenor and management seats for courses accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The tuition fee for MBA and MCA courses has been fixed at Rs. 27,000 per annum for convenor quota and Rs. 78,000 for management quota seats. Colleges can also collect ‘special fee' of Rs. 5,500 for the above courses of which Rs. 2,000 is charged towards admission fee as one-time payment, Rs. 1,500 per annum towards students-related services, Rs. 1,000 per annum for university services and Rs. 1,000 towards library and laboratory deposit as one-time payment.
