COMED-K extends last date for surrendering seat

BANGALORE: The Consortium on Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K) has extended the last date for surrendering seat and reporting to engineering and architecture colleges to September 9 and September 18, respectively.

This follows an announcement by the State's Karnataka Examination Authority that the “category round” for admissions under various State Government-reserved categories in the State will be commence on August 17.

The casual vacancy round for the remaining seats will be held from August 31, a KEA official said.

Around 2,800 engineering seats remain unfilled, more than 80 per cent of which are in reserved categories.

Meanwhile, the casual round for COMED-K admissions will be held from August 13 to August 19, a press release said. The architecture casual vacancy round will be held on August 19.
