Special Correspondent
KURNOOL: Four vehicles in the convoy of TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu were smashed due to a freak accident in Mahabubnagar district on Friday.
However, the vehicle carrying the VIP was not involved in the mishap. Nobody was injured.
According to reports, one of the vehicles in the convoy suddenly slowed down while crossing a bad patch of road at a culvert at Pothulapadu on Alampur-Santhinagar road. The vehicles racing behind collided causing damage to vehicles. The convoy proceeded to Rajoli with other vehicles where Mr. Naidu was scheduled to interact with flood victims.
The TDP chief will tour Kurnool district on Saturday, including the district headquarters which was also ravaged by the floods.
