VISAKHAPATNAM: In the ‘Arya Vysya Vadhu Varula Parichaya Mahasabha’ organized by Arya Vysya Yuvajana Sangham on Sunday at Kalavani auditorium, a large number of would be- brides and bridegrooms from Vysya community along with their parents participated. President of Andhra Pradesh Arya Vysya Mahasabha, Hyderabad, V. Kanakaraju spoke about the main activities of the sangham such as work for poor families. MLA Siddha Raghava Rao said the response to the event showed that youth was in favour of the traditional marriag. Sangam’s president Vinnakota Rama Murthy said the programme had become the biggest event of the kind among Vysya community in Andhra Pradesh. Chairman of Vysya Yuvaraja Sangham K.M.V.S.T. Ramakrishna spoke. Vivaha Parichaya Vedika of Viswa Vipra Samakhya from Brahmin community, was arranged at Vasantha Bala school in Nakkavanipalem. Vipravani, a monthly, was released on the occasion. Editor-in-Chief J. Venkateswarlu and editorial board member Surampudi Veerabhadra Rao spoke.
