Train delayed by 12 hours

CHENNAI: Passengers were stranded as the train (No. 2670) from Varanasi arrived at the Central Station at 10.30 p.m. on Wednesday, delayed by over 12 hours. It was scheduled to arrive at 9.50 a.m They surrounded the Deputy Station Master, W.K. Babu, upset over having missed their connecting trains to Madurai, Karur and Bangalore. They were told to fill in late-hour forms so that they would be accommodated in the next available train.
