DAVANGERE: A day after declaring L. K. Advani as its prime ministerial candidate, the Bharatiya Janata Party attacked the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance leadership by remarking that it suffered from “poverty of leadership.” “The Union Petroleum Minister says that the decision on revision of fuel prices has to be taken not by the Prime Minister, but by Congress president Sonia Gandhi. Is it not a poverty of leadership?” party’s national vice-president Yashwant Sinha remarked while inaugurating the two-day state executive of the party here.
